Tom Wentworth (he/him) has been the faculty adviser to The Survey, Brooklyn Tech\'s century-old student newspaper, since 2017.  He studied History and Environmental Studies in college and joined Teach for America in Los Angeles, CA before making a leap into the world of media.  Raised by a family of reporters and editors for The Washington Post, Mr. Wentworth has a lifelong passion for journalism that lead him to pursue a 20 year career in print, television, and documentary film.  He ended his illustrious career with a brief stint writing and producing a comedy series in Los Angeles, then made a mid-career transition to teaching in hopes of getting off the road and spending more time with his growing family.  He lives in Brooklyn in a shrinking apartment he shares with his wife, three children, and a loyal rescue dog.
