Steve Listopad is currently journalism faculty at the University of Central Arkansas. Listopad received the HMH Foundation's First Amendment Award for Education for his work with students on crafting the John Wall New Voices Act of North Dakota. Prior to entering academia, Steve was a journalist for a daily newspaper, a military newspaper and the High Plains Reader, an alternative weekly in Fargo, N.D. While in Los Angeles, Listopad worked for New Line Cinema, in post-production and international publicity. He has experience teaching journalism and media students abroad in China; Nice, France; Florence, Italy; and Oslo, Norway.
