About

I bring a unique mix of experience to the teaching and advising table as an Air Force veteran. I currently teach photography and graphic design, digital design, video production, journalistic writing, yearbook production, newspaper production, and media production at Bellevue East High School in Nebraska. Previously, I have taught English and pop culture studies. I enjoy traveling, cooking, and spending time with my friends and family. I obtained my undergrad from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in secondary education with endorsements in journalism and English, and minors in English and mass communication. I have my master's in curriculum and instruction from Doane University, plus an additional 36 semester hours of master's level teacher education course work. I also have my MJE certification.
