Shanon Woolf spent 18 years as an English teacher before finally getting her dream job advising news media and yearbook at McIntosh High School in Peachtree City, Georgia.  She advises both the McIntosh Trail Online News Site and the Legend yearbook. The Trail is a SNO Distinguished Site in 2024 and 2025, and the Legend earned an NSPA All-American rating for vol. 43, "Just Ask." Woolf was the Georgia Scholastic Press Association’s First-Year Adviser of the Year in 2019 and was named a JEA Rising Star in 2020. She has served JEA as a member of the Scholastic Journalism Week committee since 2019.
