Shanon Woolf spent 18 years as an English teacher before finally getting her dream job advising news media and yearbook.  Having completed her second year advising at McIntosh High School, in Peachtree City, Georgia., her yearbook program was named a Jostens National Yearbook Program of Excellence, and her students have won various state-level photography and digital art awards.
