Previous to starting a broadcast journalism program for teens at an independent, Montessori school in the 2017-2018 school year, I spent close 20 years working in television news as a producer, chief assignment editor and field producer for various networks in the NYC area. I also spent a few years in digital journalism, working as a reporter and editor for a start-up health news site. Today, I continue to teach young teens the foundations of broadcast journalism and production and continue to be involved in other freelance projects whenever possible.
