I retired after 26 years of teaching high school journalism and 40 total years of teaching. I also worked about 20 years at the local daily part-time as a news copy editor and Spanish-to-English translator, retiring in late 2015. (I now receive a modest pension. How cool is that?!) I have also been an adjunct instructor at the local state university. In addition, I am a JEA-certified critique judge and mentor. Iím also a member of the JEA Mentoring Committee.
