Laurie L. Folsom advises the Mill Valley Broadcast Journalism program. MVTV students produce a weekly live show for the students and staff at MVHS in Shawnee, Kansas and host a live daily announcements broadcast. Formerly she served as vice president of Journalism Educators of Metropolitan KC and area rep for Kansas Scholastic Press Association. She has taught print and multimedia journalism since 1997.
