I was the journalism teacher and newspaper adviser at the University of Illinois Laboratory High School in Urbana from 1995 to 2010. Our paper, the Gargoyle, was a monthly publication until we went online in 2006. From November 2006 onward, the Gargoyle was strictly a daily multimedia digital publication. I have a masters degree from Northwestern Universitys Medill School of Journalism and a juris doctor degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
