Christine Uthoff is the advisor for student media and a journalism lecturer at Eastern Michigan University, and a freelance writer. Previously, she served as: digital content director for WMMT-TV 3 in Kalamazoo, Michigan; editor of The Bristol Herald Courier in Bristol, Virginia; city editor of the Ypsilanti edition of The Ann Arbor News; and city editor of the Bozeman Daily Chronicle; in addition to working several years as a reporter for newspapers and magazines in Texas, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, Michigan and Virginia.
