Christina has been teaching in the highly competitive Mas Scholars Program at Christopher Columbus High School for the past 17 years, and is the co-adviser of CCNN Live, Christopher Columbus High Schoolís Journalism Program. She and her partner have led their students to win 48 regional and 11 national Student Television Production Awards, three national championships through the Student Television Network (STN) and many FSPA awards, including the coveted Sunshine State Standout. Christina has served on the board of several Florida Scholastic Press Association (FSPA) conventions and is a judge for the Journalism Educatorís Association (JEA), and National Scholastic Press Association (NSPA). CCNN Liveís daily show has been awarded the Broadcast Pacemaker by the National Scholastic Press Association (NSPA) several times under her tutelage.  She was named JEAís 2020 Distinguished Broadcast Adviser, and was Columbus\' Teacher of the Year in 2014.
