Buck Ryan, director of the Citizen Kentucky Project, is an associate professor in the School of Journalism and Media at the University of Kentucky. He is co-author of “Editing. The Essential Guide to Better Writing Across Today’s Media” (Cognella) with Michael O’Donnell. Ryan is best known as creator of the Maestro Concept for story planning. He has produced five documentaries for public television.
