Adriana Chavira, MJE, advises The Pearl Post website and newsmagazine as well as Prestige Yearbook at Daniel Pearl Magnet High School in Los Angeles. She is vice president of the Southern California Journalism Education Association, and serves on the boards of the Student Press Law Center and the California Press Foundation. Adriana is a former ambassador for the News Literacy Project and ex board member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists. She also is a national board certified teacher in CTE.
