Advising multimedia programs for more than 25 years, Coro encourages students to explore areas of media production including writing, videography, digital photography, and technology in all her classes. She also adjuncts in the graphic design department at Grand Canyon University. Sheís busy serving on the districtís Career and Technology Education media advisory council, president of the Arizona State Interscholastic Press Association board, a board member of the National Scholastic Press Association. and as scholarship chair for the Phoenix AKARAMA DBO chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Coro earned her bachelorís degree in broadcast journalism with a minor in communication from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications at Arizona State University in 1990 and holds a masterís in Education with an emphasis in technology.
