I am Michael Mink, and I live in St. Louis, Missouri.

After observing my wife (Jackie Mink) judging publications and attending journalism conventions, I have decided to join the JEA and participate as a member and judge.

I have an associate's degree in graphic design and a bachelor's degree in business and communication.

I worked at a high school for 18 years running the audiovisual department and working with students and staff.

I have run a freelance graphic design business.

The areas of expertise I would hope to judge mentor or participate in are photography, design, illustration, broadcast, and video work.

I am skilled in most computer design sites.

I have taken the critique training course.

I look forward to membership in the JEA.
